- כּוּל, כִּילch. sam(כולto measure.). Perf. כָּל; part. כָּאֵיל, כָּיֵיל. Targ. O. Ex. 16:18 (Y. אָכִילוּ Af.). Targ. Ruth. 3:15. Targ. Is. 27:8.Men.53b כי קא כיילוכ׳ when he measures, he measures by Ab. Zar.71b אק כ׳ ודמיוכ׳ he measures and pours (the wine) into Ned.51a, v. אֲכַל II.Ḥull.12a, a. e. לכי תֵיכוּל עלה כורא דמילחא (I will tell you,) if you will measure out for it a Kor of salt (a jesting remark).
